Here is yet another update....The truck is now back down cause the computer finally died. Leaving us stranded once again..Update to the Update******We now have our truck on the road but it still needs the computer that controls the fuel..so far she has been doing us well,it took us broke to get her legal for the road but we had no choice..We were helping friends of our and in return they were taken me into work when I needed it and to the bus stop in the morning but then he totaled the car by going head on into a guard rail.(he's ok)..still need the help with making sure this truck stays running so we have the transportation we need. My husband has been on job interviews and has some good prospects. I have contritbute this turn of events on the this site and the friends I have made here and with their prayers has helped us to make things to start happening..THANK YOU!!!Update****The lady that usually takes me into work now has no way to get me there because the family member that was helping them out by helping themselves out took the van off their insurance and took the tag off the van leaving them without a vehicle..We had offered to help them by putting it in my name under my insurance giving them back a vehicle.. No answer yet. But then on that note dont know how long this van will last either and I cannot afford to fix that one either..They are barely surviving themselves on unemployment.. I am a mother of 2 and a wife. I am the only worker in the house. My husband has been on unemployment for a yr til this past Octber when they stopped it. He had a chance to appeal it but it was also the same time that he and the children where headed back up north to meet up with me and say our Good Byes to my mother who passed away from Leukemmia. When we got back and he was asking for an extension to file his appeal they told him that they couldnt do anything for him becausse the lost of his mother-in-law wasnt a good reason for them to give him the extension. We have 2 vehicles and neither one can I afford to put on the road. I just insured the one,only because I didnt need any money down but we need to finish the work on it before it is road werthy. The other one is the same problem, need the money for the part and then all the money for the registration. Yes I work but every time I turn around they are cutting my hrs which makes it harder to pay bills and save money to put these vehicles on the road. One way trip to my job is 37miles. I have tried to get into a store closer to my home but with no luck on that. I have been finding ways into work but that takes money for gas every time and the rides are getting less and less.. I have one lady who gives me away in whenever I call but it cost me $10-$20 a day or more cause I would put the fuel in the van and its like its freedom to run on the fuel I put in so if I need a way home I have to put more in. This is breaking us more then running my own vehicle. When my truck was on the road it would take at least 25% of my pay check to keep it fueled up.
