UPDATE 3/30/10 WOW!!! KARMA IS SO REAL!! Yesterday, my husband took his grandma to the doctor. They stopped at Jack's to get a biscuit, and he had a buy one get one free coupon. They placed the order and the total was like $4. He drove around to the window, and was counting his & his grandma's $$$. She said just give me the coupon. He said, "How much?" And had the $$$. The lady said "The car in front paid for your order and said", "GOD BLESS YOU!" This is bringing tears to my eyes because we so believe in Karma and we have helped about 13 people in the past 2 weeks. The last person we have helped we sent a BOX full of baby clothes from my daughter and shoes and a can of formula to this lady in Florida, whom is homeless, pregnant, been through breast cancer and has 4 kids, one is a 1 year old little girl. We were struggling with the shipping costs and that $$ was put toward our "Helping others fund". I am also saving cans to help others. I firmly believe that GOD IS GOOD, and Karma comes back to you! Although we have been through so much and still do, I believe I am here to help others with what little I do have. It is so so rewarding and teaching the kids that you should help others that are in need is just a must at my house! Can't wait to use the $$$ on helping someone else! My husband had me crying, he said that was one of the reasons he loved me, I was so caring and giving. But let me tell you, that man is AWESOME! He GIVES TOO!!! I am so proud of my family. ;) 5:00 P.M. 3/19/10 We need a car terribly! We have a VERY VERY GOOD JOB OFFER, WE NEED A CAR TERRIBLY!!OMG!!! I got a letter from Senator Richard Shelby today for contacting him about FCC. He said that he commends the work of FCC and it's an impressive organization and it's generosity of donating cars is UN-MATCHED!!!! He will support this organization's(FCC) efforts should a legislative opportunity arise in the 111th Congress! YAY!!! AND yesterday, Senator Jeff Sessions wrote me thanking me for contacting him regarding FCC! I am so super excited! 3/13/10 My father in law is basically laughing in my face about being on this website. I am furious. He had made the comment, "like you are gonna get a car, yeah right." I KNOW AND BELIEVE IN FCC! HE WILL SEE! I BELIEVE. I HAVE FAITH. I AM POSITIVE! I AM STRONG! I have been giving back and helping others today. I have helped 5 people with needs for themselves or kids. With food/coupons. I love it. I LOVE FCC! THANK U SO MUCH FOR HELPING THOSE IN NEED, IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD TO SEE OTHERS RECEIVE! 3/10/10 WE NEED A CAR BADLY! WE HAVE BEEN OFFERED WORK, BUT NO WAY! PLEASE!!!! WE NEED THIS TERRIBLY!!! PRAYING, PRAYING, PRAYING!!! THIS IS A GREAT OPPURTUNITY! AND MUCH NEEDED WORK!!! 3/8/10 Today was a better day. Our family adopted a soldier from adoptaussoldier.org. We are so excited. You simply write them letter, send cards, etc...to thank them for their services and keeping us all safe! U can also send care packages, if u like, with food, hygiene kits, etc. And USPS will bring you boxes to ship it in free and ship it free. Candy, hot chocolate, baby wipes, cause they often aren't able to shower for weeks, so they bathe off with them. Anything at all they will appreciate, even just a thank you. It doesn't take much. Be creative! I am asking a lot of people to help out also. You would be surprised at who is willing to help. So so excited. Can't wait. You can adopt many! Oh, and she apologized for yesterday. I have always known that my husband's grandmother enjoyed seeing us struggle and enjoy us not have a way around. SHE SAID IT TODAY!!! She really said it. She said that if she had anything to do with it, we wouldn't get a car. UNBELIEVABLE!! We have missed so many things not having a car. Her grand-daughter has never been to the park or zoo. She is way behind on shots. Her grand-son adores football and is desperately wanting to play, and she enjoys them being here miserable not living life? WOW! I am so upset and sad. I cry not being able to take them the simplest places and she enjoys it? I would give anything to get away, to go to church, to have a life, to get the kids to the doctor, they are WAY BEHIND!!!And to get to go to the store when we need to without depending on people that aren't reliable. PLEASE, I am begging. The nearest anything is like 10-15 miles away. We can't walk anywhere. Without a vehicle we are stranded. It's the country. My kids deserve SO MUCH better. We have not been anywhere really in 3 years other than the store and few ER visits. I have been enrolled in school, just no way. Praying for a change soon to save my family from being torn apart. I cry for them,and think how most of us are truly blessed and lucky even at our lowest, compared to some of the Haitians there. Please donate if u can. My family lives off of one disibility check. YAY!!!NOW I'M JUST ABOUT 3 MONTHS BEHIND ON CLOTHES!!! A week after that my stove went out. I was so upset! It seemed like things went from bad to worse. But others in this world have it worse than we do. We can all do something! I am still very blessed. Those are minor setbacks. Things aren't in walking distance, and no bus or taxi's. So I decided to just make do until. Helping someone who needs it worse than me, was/is my passion. My dream is to one day be an activist/advocate and help people, it is a true passion. I believe in Karma, and believe that all you do is seen and rewarded. Treat others like you want to be treated. Have compassion for others, you are not to judge. You never know what someone has been/going through.******************************************************************************************* ***ABOUT ME*** UPDATE: I have been through ALOT as a child, my mom and dad divorced when I was 9 and I have 4 younger brothers. My youngest brother was 1 @ the time of divorce. I basically raised them. I cooked,cleaned and did mom things. She had men in and out and finally settled with one for 12 or so years, and had 4 kids with him, that abused us daily. Not his kids though. He was an alcoholic(BAD) and Lord knows what else he done. He did so many bad things to us, I am thinking of writing my life story. It would make a great movie. I have PTSD because of him, he use to make us all stay in this big bedroom with 2 sets of bunkbeds, took the lightbulb out and pad locked us in like animals until he seen fit to let us out to eat or use the bathroom. NO LIGHTS. At night he would terrorize us by beating on the windows knowing we were terrified of him. One night he was abusing my 1 yr. old brother for not being potty trained, and I of course defended us all, he turned 2 me and I accidentally kicked a hole in the wall. That was our last night there staying with her, we all got it. I had many many many sleepless nights as a kid. And wondered if my mom would be dead the next day at times. That was a daily threat. My dad had no idea what was going on and it was going through the courts while everything was going on so he had no power until the judge ruled,when he did find out. THANK GOD 4 MY DAD! And my Memaw(his mom) who raised me. And many dear friends, cops, lawyers. Memaw and daddy fought 4 us. He did the best he could working and taking care of us, my mom NEVER paid one penny in child support. I would NEVER WISH MY WORST ENEMY a second of that. It was a nightmare. I have a lot more, but feel it's a little too personal, and there's alot I wish I could forget. My mom has recently got a phone bill in my name that I was unaware of and ran it up to thousands accepting collect calls from her brother in prison. She has married in the last 5 years to another guy she met from Canada and has 2 more kids with him. That makes 11 kids total. The youngest has down syndrome. I feel really bad for my brothers and sisters because they have no chance or choice like me and my 4 real brothers did. And some of them are just precious, but a few are well hyper to say the least. My half sister got pregnant at 15 and now has a kid just about 2 she can't take care of. My mom has done so much to me I have no relationship with her. She doesn't care about us, or she wouldn't run up bills in our name that we didn't know about. Again and again!*************************************************************************************************************************************** ****CARING ME**** I once made my brother take off his socks and shoes when I was 14 while at an event to give to a homeless man out in freezing temperatures. He had 2 different shoes on, no socks and one of the shoes whole front was gone. I will never forget that! People around me thought I was crazy, but my brother had more shoes in the car. We just donated to an organization that helps women and children in need. I donate all clothing that we can no longer use. It's saving the planet and helping others in need. I have recently mailed formula coupons to someone that needed them. I try to help even if it's something small. ***ABOUT ME AND MY FAMILY I ADORE DEARLY*** I am a happily married (10 and 1/2 years) mother of 2 kids w/asthma. Hunter is on a breathing machine at times. Hunter, will be 10 in March, and Grace, will be 3 in April. My husband is disabled. I have the best husband in the world. He is my best friend and a perfect father. He has been through falling off of a roof while working, and been through a back surgery and ankle surgery. The fall crushed his ankle, and he has chronic back problems, and severe rheumatoid arthiritis due to having psoriasis. I have experienced being told I tested positive for cervical cancer while pregnant with my daughter. I went to an gynecologic oncologist once, due to no transportation I have yet to go back. I have not been seen since I had my daughter. April will be 3 years. I also suffer from other problems that need to be seen about. Last April, I found out that I have mitral valve prolapse. A form of heart disease. My chest races, I feel very tired at times and my chest hurts sometimes. I should be on meds to slow my heart-rate. Our only way anywhere is my father- in- law and he had a rare form of nasal cancer that came back as brain cancer. He is weak and sick often. He underwent a GAMA knife procedure December 7th and had brain surgery December 16th to remove the tumor. This was his second time it had come back. Both kids get sick easily and frequently need to go to doctor. It is so hard to get a ride, it is so frustrating at times and causes alot of stress, even my son. He questions why we can't do things at times and why we don't have a car. I feel absolutely terrible. He is a wonderful kid. I am so proud of them both. We also care for my husbands grandmother, whom is disabled also, has one prosthetic eye, has had a hip replacement and ankle/foot surgery as well. We care for each other. And God has blessed our family. We have just had a few setbacks. But are a strong family who sticks together as one! We are in dire need of a vehicle. Our family has been through so much and even experienced homelessness in 2005 after my husband not being able to return to work after back surgery. We have come a long way. God and family has been good. Thank u all for the prayers and votes. It means so so much. It REALLY DOES! We have been through ALOT of hard times. Alot of not knowing.
