My Story

I don't know if it would be appropriate to say we would be more deserving then another, but I will tell you our story and how receiving the amazing gift of a car from Free Charity Car could change our life. I was watching Montel Williams this morning when I first heard about this program and I thought wow this could be the answer to our nightmare that seems to never end so I began this journey. It all began in February when I learned I was expecting my first born child. My boy friend Travis who has a 2 year old daughter our daughter Araya and I were all so excited and began talking to our baby telling him how special and loved he was and how we couldn't wait to hold him in October. As the months passes the doctors continued to do the things they do testing and ultra sounds we learned we were having a son Alexaviour Maurice Cooper and we were so happy until late April at 4 months they told us the blood tests showed problems and the nightmare began. Further test and weeks of waiting for results gave us the crippling answers no parent should ever hear that our son would have no chance of survival out side the womb and we prayed that God would keep him safe there forever, but we all know this is not possible. The depression for us both was over whelming and the burden of that knowledge unbearable and both of us fell deep into dis pare and darkness. The jobs well Travis was layed off and I couldn't work even though I had just graduated college passed state board and was a Cosmetologist it all seemed to dissipate, nothing prepares you for the heartache and pain and fear of saying hello to you precious baby to only say good bye. On June 17, 2009 after 4 days of labor we gave birth to our beautiful precious son Alexaviour and he was perfect and God allowed us 25 minutes to hold, love and kiss our little boy before taking our angel to heaven. As time passed less then 1 week after coming home with out our son the bank repossessed our car leaving us no way to continue to get the much needed help we still need today. We have our little Araya who is 2 and life is falling apart no way to get to counseling to the store easily and when you suffer from depression and postpartum problems going out period is a struggle but with out a car you are stranded. My life seems incomplete and empty I know that it's not but as the dis pare gets greater and the hope seems to never come the possibility that through this tragedy we may be blessed seems amazing! Our precious son Alexaviour will live forever in our hearts and in Gods kingdom until we can hold and kiss him again my hopes are that maybe we can get a car for our lives to be a little easier. Thank you for letting me share my story about my family's much need hope for the future. It has been a long moment my dear friends but we wanted you all to join us in our happiest of times as we celebrate the new arrival this Sept. 12th 2010 we are having a girl. We feel so blessed to have had so many of you fill our hearts with love and such caring we love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you all and thank you "Free Charity Cars" for giving us all this format to share our story's and help recycle cars to those in need. Thank you all Kristina
